Herringbone Floors in the Quad

by Rong Xin Choy

So I had my last Medical-Forensic Criminology class in this quaint little classroom hidden in the Quad last week. Although the 10am start was a bit of a struggle for me, the charm of this old-world classroom always made up for it. The shadows, muted colors and decades of graffiti on the woodwork always intrigued me. Two original large murals are at the back, although the best part of the room is truly the floor.

I'm pretending to be intensely deep in thought in hope that some of that information will actually be pressed into my brain by sheer will power! I'll be gearing up for my law exams, while plowing through two more infinity-word essays on Social Theory and Law. On a side note, thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by Hurricane Sandy- Hang in there and God bless x
